Your vocal chords can be improved if you treat them like a muscle - sing too high and you will hurt them. Sing too low and you might hurt them too, but use it every day and you will build up strength. If you overuse it, you will hurt it too. To start with, don't practice for more than 30 minutes. Build that up gradually until you reach an hour. Most singers can't manage more than an hour. Also, drink plenty of water while you practice.
Practice singing scales, slowly. Start in the middle of your range and sing up as far as you can whilst still being comfortable (don't screech). Then start in the middle again and sing down as far as you can whilst still being comfortable. That should establish your comfortable range. Bear in mind that girls' voices have a "break", where you can sing either side of it but it's not easy to cross it. Try to avoid practicing across the break, as this will make your practice easier.
You also need to build up breath control - the amount of breath you can put into a phrase. Professional singers can hold a note, loudly, for a large number of seconds - think of Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma. This is because they build up their breath control slowly over a number of years. There are lots of things you can do for this - see the link from the Vocalist below.
Finally, record yourself as you have done, with a good microphone, and then do some practice (20 mins or so) every day for a week - scales, songs, breath control exercises - then rerecord yourself and see whether you can hear the difference.
you should not disturb anyone ok)...you must sing aloud so that your throat will be opened...try to have vocalization first before doing that like 'ma mi ma mi ma mi ma mi ma' or if you dont want to have vocalization loud you can use a dringking straw and start to vocalize...you should stop drinking cold water just warm always or else your voice will break down and even ice cream do not eat too much...chocolates are also good in morning just in the MORNING always practice low notes first before high notes...and sing many hight notes...its ok if you cant reach it...try to breathe or sing in your chest its the voice quality will be higher than your throat..and if you follow the steps i know you'll success^^and if you like you can also have a voice lesson and hire your own music or voice teacher...its good to have an adviser^^ have nice day and always keep your voice safe ok^^ and always believe in yourself...have confidence...and always smile...God Bless^^
