Thank you Cristi for all the useful information, it seems the problem was related to the CPU fan that did not function properly.
The problem is fixed now,

Check your computer for any driver incompatibilities and also check your CPU and video card temperature.
You can find some useful applications (google it) that provide that information for you if your motherboard/CPU/Video card supports them.
Also check if your coolers are working properly.

try a virus scan from the free anti virus program, AVG.

could also be a lot of spyware and adware which i believe AVG scans for.
Try reinstalling your windows.
Check your power supply, it maybe be related to a motherboard issue
